Madonna's "W.E.": In Theaters Now!

Making its long-awaited cinematic debut, Madonna's romantic drama "W.E." has made its way to theaters just in time for the weekend (February 3).

Creating quite a buzz in the months leading up to its release, the films boasts Oscar Isaac, Abbie Cornish, Andrea Riseborough, James D'Arcy, David Harbour and Natalie Dormer on its cast roster.

As for the plot, "W.E." is described as "a two-tiered romantic drama focusing on the affair between King Edward VIII and American divorce Wallis Simpson and a contemporary romance between a married woman and a Russian security guard."

Hoping to hit it off with her audience, yet not naive as to the criticism she might face, Madonna dished her thoughts about her gig as director, telling the Huffington Post, "I am aware that I am not a seasoned director and that the world is waiting to see my film and they are not going to blow any smoke up my behind. But on the other hand, I am very proud of the work I have done and I stand by it and I am sure that it will find its audience."
