Valentine's Day 2012 will be extra sweet for Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z. The mother-to-be announced on Australia's Sunday Night TV program that her baby is due in February.
The 30-year-old musical diva explained why the timing for her first pregnancy is so perfect. "My husband and I have been together for 10 years," the Grammy-winning singer said on the popular Aussie show. "All of my 20s. I feel like it is time … and I'm so happy."
Knowles first revealed her pregnancy at the MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 28. She showed off her baby bump in a body-skimming white gown and caused an international Twitter trend about her big announcement.
During the VMAs, Lady B introduced her performance of the song "Love on Top" by getting the crowd excited about her pregnancy. "I want you to stand up on your feet. I want you to feel the love that's growing inside me," she told the audience.
The singer also displayed her maternal curves in her new "Countdown" video, which premiered earlier this month.
"I think a woman's curves when she is pregnant are so beautiful," she told the Associated Press earlier this year. "I don't want to get matronly, and I still find things that are sensual and feminine and funky. I have been mixing different textures and suit jackets and blazers. I don't want to be in the same dress every day."
