"They send the schedule through and, for 40 of the 42 days they need me for filming, I was on tour. I had to think about what I was prioritizing - my music of 'The Voice?' I wouldn't be on that show if it wasn't for the music. I have to get back to the core of who I am."
On having kids:
"When I turned 25, something changed in me. I see children in my future 100%. Soon. I started thinking I want my kids to look back and say, 'Wasn't mommmy amazing?' I've really started thinking about what I'm leaving for them."
On becoming more approachable to men:
"Men aren't scared of me anymore. I think I looked scary around the time of 'Do It Like A Dude' but I think I'm more approachable to men now. I hope so anyway!"

<P>As promised, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/kesha_/artist.jhtml">Ke$ha</a> and her boys Lil Wayne, T.I., Wiz Khalifa and Andre 3000 dropped a new <a href="/news/articles/1672529/lil-wayne-kesha-ti-wiz-khalifa-remix.jhtml">remix of "Sleazy"</a> on Tuesday (December 13).</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="MTV News Extended Play: Ke$ha" id="id:1661961" width="240" height="211"></div><p></P><P>The Bangladesh-produced song originally appeared on K-Dollar's 2010 <a href="/news/articles/1651081/keha-gets-sleazy-on-new-cannibal-track.jhtml"><i>Cannibal</i> album</a> before a <a href="/news/articles/1656039/andre-3000-pops-up-on-kehas-sleazy-remix.jhtml">remix featuring Andre</a> popped up earlier this year. The latest version of the song is available for purchase and is all over blogs like <a href="http://www.rap-up.com/2011/12/12/new-music-kesha-f-wiz-khalifa-andre-3000-ti-lil-wayne-sleazy-remix/" target="_blank">Rap-Up.com</a>. The song gets a bit dirtier and introspective thanks to verses from the guys that play up the track's bumping beat.</P><P>Wiz kicks it off, rapping about designer clothes and his lady love, Amber Rose. "OK, I'm young and I'm tatted/ I get them bucks like an addict/ Rocking this Christian Dior/ I spend so much on my fabric/ I got a wifey at home/ And what she wants she can have it," he spits before going on about chilling on the beach, being rich and his prowess in the bedroom.</P><P>Sitting in between Wiz and Tip is Andre's recycled verse, before T.I. gets his shot and gets sexy, asking Ke$ha, "Do you know what to do with me?" before he launches into a verse all about how good he is to the ladies. "Bad bitches know me/ So don't bother introducing me/ They want me more than diamonds," he brags before explaining that it has a lot to do with his impressive anatomy.</P><P>Wayne closes it out, adding his own signature flair. "We be on that sh-- that no one be on/ That's what we on/ Smoke that neon, Kings of Leon/ Dynamite, Napoleon/ Got some skinnies and a tee on/ And some Vans," he rhymes about his famous sense of Weezy-fied style before the song circles back to the funky chorus, where Ke$ha declares that she doesn't "need you or your brand-new Benz/ Or your bougie friends/ I don't need love lookin' like diamonds/ Lookin' like diamonds."</P><P>If any of K's fans or critics were wondering if she has the swagger to chill with the guys, she displayed some of her sass when she <a href="http://twitter.com/#!/KESHASUXX" target="_blank">tweeted</a> about the remix. "Question ANIMALS ... who can say they got with Lil Wayne, T.I., Andre 3000 and Wiz Khalifa on a f---ing hot track??" she asked. "ill give u one clue ... <P>The music industry has been stuck in a rut for nearly a decade. But every once in a while, it still manages to produce one of those unstoppable hit albums that give everyone that good old feeling. </P><P> </P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Rolling in the Deep" id="vid:604336" width="240" height="211"></div><p> </P><P> </P><P>This year's model is <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/adele/artist.jhtml">Adele</a>'s <I>21</I>, which not only sold more copies than any other album in the U.S. in 2011 (more than 5.6 million to date), but which has also moved the most units of any artist since 2004. According to a <a href="http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/12/27/us-adele-idUSTRE7BQ10V20111227" target="_blank"><I>Reuters</I> report</a>, those gaudy figures (which top 15 million worldwide) make the British songbird the first artist to cross the 5 million mark in one year since Usher did it with his fourth studio album, <I>Confessions</I>, which sold 7.9 million units more than seven years ago. </P><P> </P><P>And to think she did it by releasing just two mega singles, <a href="/news/articles/1675976/adele-rolling-in-the-deep-best-song-2011.jhtml">"Rolling in the Deep"</a> and "Someone Like You," and barely touring North America due to <a href="/news/articles/1674453/adele-throat-surgery-recovery.jhtml">recurring vocal issues.</a>
 </P><P> </P><P>There have been other big hits along the way to Adele's mark, including Eminem selling more than 3.4 million copies of his comeback <I>Recovery</I> album last year and Taylor Swift taking the honors in 2009 with <I>Fearless</I>, which sold 3.2 million copies. But none have come as close to Usher's mark in the interim. </P><P> </P><P>There doesn't seem to be any chance Adele will be surpassed by the end of the year: The closest contenders are Lady Gaga's <I>Born This Way</I> (2.08 million) and Michael Bublé's <I>Christmas</I> (2.4 million). The other good news is that overall music sales are expected to be up slightly (3 percent) by the end of this year, marking the first time that's happened since 2004.</p>

And on Thursday, Oscar-winning industrial-rocker-turned-film composer Reznor and musical partner Atticus Ross unveiled the full track list for their "Tattoo" score album.</P><P>The follow-up to their award-winning "The Social Network" score was a labor of love, according to a <a href="http://nin.com/?id=102677" target="_blank">post</a> Reznor put up on the NIN site on Thursday announcing the disc. "For the last fourteen months Atticus and I have been hard at work on David Fincher's 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo,' " he wrote about the American version of the tale of pierced and punished hacker <a href="/news/articles/1655879/rooney-mara-dragon-tattoo.jhtml">Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara)</a> and her muckraking journalist compatriot <a href="/news/articles/1667542/daniel-craig-rooney-mara-girl-with-the-dragon-tattoo.jhtml">Mikael Blomkvist (Daniel Craig)</a>. "We laughed, we cried, we lost our minds and in the process made some of the most beautiful and disturbing music of our careers. Shocking the public when he passed away suddenly on Saturday, many celebs are taking to Twitter to remember famed radio DJ Kidd Kraddick.
While attending his Kidd's Kids charity golf outing, the 53-year-old host died suddenly, with a cause of death yet to be determined.
Stunned by the news, Kelly Clarkson tweeted, "Oh man, I just heard Kidd Kraddick died! He's my childhood dj. What a sad day. His poor family. He was always nice 2 me from the beginning."
Also having grown up listening to Kidd, Demi Lovato tweeted, "#RIPKiddKraddick.. Grew up with you always on my radio.. Had the pleasure of meeting you back when I was 9 at a showcase where even way back then, you believed in my talent. Dallas, TX lost a hero tonight and my heart is broken for the KISS FM family. You're already missed Kidd.."
Across the Pond, Harry Styles of One Direction wrote, "Absolutely devastated to hear about the sad passing of Kidd Kraddick. He was always so nice and will be incredibly missed. Lovely man. RIP."

Country crossover act the Band Perry will perform a full concert of their own after the <a href="http://www.mtv.com/news/grammys">Grammy</a> nominations concert wraps up at L.A. Live's Nokia Theatre. Singer will film live music video for 'I Was Here' to support campaign.

<P>Last week, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/knowles_beyonce/artist.jhtml">Beyoncé</a> posted a <a href="http://newsroom.mtv.com/2012/07/26/beyonce-posts-mysterious-announcement-wipes-hard-drives-when-she-leaves-studio/">mysterious message</a> on her website that simply read, "Leave your footprint on 19 August 2012."</P><P>The cryptic note had many fans wondering just what Queen B might be up to come mid-August. Well, the answer is here, and Beyoncé not only wants her Beyhive to leave their footprint that day, but she'll also be doing the same.</P><P><iframe width="415" height="233" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/yPPBKyIceWY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></P><P>The superstar has joined forces with the United Nations and humanitarian aid organizations for World Humanitarian Day on August 19. It is "a global day to celebrate humanity and the spirit of people helping people," according to a press release.</P><P>The VMA-nominated singer will be in New York City for the big celebration, along with her "I Was Here" songwriter, Diane Warren. The ladies will be on hand at the U.N. General Assembly Hall to film a live music video for the <i>4</i> ballad that they will then donate to the cause. It will be released that same day.</P><P>Beyoncé appears in a black-and-white PSA for the campaign. A close-up of her face, sporting the <a href="/news/articles/1689944/beyonce-baby-blue-ivy.jhtml">braids she debuted a few weeks back</a>, shows her outdoors. "It's high time we rise together," she says. "Do one thing for another human being — nothing is too small. It begins with each of us. Make your mark and say 'I was here.' " Also including footage of people across the world, the message closes out with the track playing and the diva saying, "One day, one message, 1 billion taking action for each other. I'll see you then."</P><P>The <a href="http://www.whd-iwashere.org" target="_blank">World Humanitarian Day website</a> launched this week allows folks to post the "individual acts of good" they have done in their communities. By the day of the event, they hope to reach 1 billion people with a single message. Communities will do their part through commemorations and public events.</P><P>"We all see the headlines, and we think, 'What can I really do to help?' " Beyoncé said in a statement. "World Humanitarian Day is an opportunity for all of us to work together to make a difference. This is our time to leave our mark on the world and show that we were here and we care."</P>

<P>The unpredictable wheel of Jackson family drama continued to spin on Wednesday (July 25) when a judge stripped family matriarch Katherine of her guardianship of the late King of Pop Michael's three children, handing over the duties to their cousin, TJ Jackson.</P><P>After nearly a week of increasingly bizarre public feuding, accusations, <a href="http://rapfix.mtv.com/2012/07/25/fight-details-janet-and-paris-jackson/">confrontations</a> and <a href="http://rapfix.mtv.com/2012/07/24/fight-between-janet-and-paris-jackson-kidnapping-allegations/">allegations of kidnapping</a>, <a href="http://www.tmz.com/2012/07/25/jackson-family-emergency-guardianship-hearing-katherine-jackson-tj-randy-michael-jackson-kids-custody/" target="_blank">TMZ</a> reported that Judge Mitch Beckloff temporarily stripped Katherine of her guardianship over Paris, Prince and Prince Michael II ("Blanket").</P><P>He appointed TJ, 34, son of Tito Jackson, as the new guardian for the children, who appear to be at the center of a tug-of-war between the Michael's adult siblings. During an emergency guardianship hearing, Beckloff did not suspend Katherine for any wrongdoing, but said that she was being blocked from carrying out her guardianship by unnamed third parties, which the site speculated were siblings Randy, Janet, Jermaine and Rebbie.</P><P>Beckloff reportedly advised TJ and his lawyer to seek a permanent guardianship agreement following stories that Katherine, 82, was being held against her will by the same unidentified "third parties." During the hearing, TJ's lawyer described to the judge a strange phone call his client got from Katherine on Tuesday. "I've never heard my grandmother talk like that," TJ said, adding that she didn't sound "sharp" and that her "pauses, choice of vocabulary ... she has not used certain phrases like that before." He suspected she was talking in code.</P><P>Katherine Jackson called home on Tuesday after being out of touch for nine days, according to her lawyer. She had asked TJ to watch the children for her when she left her home on July 15.</P><P>In an unexpected twist, TMZ reported that one of Katherine's own lawyers, Sandra Ribera, said she had visited the family compound recently and also believes that her client is being held against her will. Katherine's other lawyer, Perry Sanders, said in court that he vigorously opposes a permanent move to strip Katherine of her guardianship and that when she returns to Los Angeles he will file a motion to reinstate her as guardian. <a href="http://www.cnn.com/2012/07/25/showbiz/jackson-family-dispute/index.html" target="_blank">CNN</a> reported that after the hearing Sanders said he'd been informed by Randy Jackson that his mother was on a plane headed back to California.</P><P>Sanders also said the Tuesday night check-in call from Katherine was made after she met with Jermaine and Janet Jackson at a spa near Tucson, Arizona. He was barred, however, from meeting with her or talking to her at that time.</P><P>The judge also ordered that the children not be removed from California without a court order and that backup guardian Diana Ross and Debbie Rowe, biological mother of the two oldest children, also be informed of the order to keep the kids in the state. The move to wrestle guardianship away from the family matriarch was days in coming and allegedly supported by the children, as well as MJ's estate. A spokesperson for the estate had no comment on the actions at press time.</P><P>The temporary guardianship will be reviewed at a hearing scheduled for next month, where it's possible that Wednesday's action could be reversed.</P><P>While Michael's will gave Katherine custody of his children and a 20 percent stake in his massive estate, her husband, Joe Jackson, and the eight surviving Jackson siblings were completely cut out. Some of the siblings have reportedly been exploring a move to have the will invalidated by arguing that Michael was in New York on the day that the document was notarized in Los Angeles.</P><P>In a video that surfaced earlier this week, Janet Jackson is seen trying to take a cell phone away from Paris, 14, and berating her niece for using her phone to tweet about family business. That video leaked after Janet, Jermaine and Randy Jackson reportedly attempted to persuade Paris and Prince, 15, to leave Katherine's home on Monday. Both resisted and a short time later, sheriff's deputies arrived to break up a scuffle between Randy, Jermaine Jackson and TJ.</P><P><a href="http://rapfix.mtv.com/2012/07/24/fight-at-michael-jacksons-mother-house-police-called/">MTV News</a> reported that police were called to the scene but did not make any arrests. </P>

It wasn't long ago that Amanda Bynes was on top of the world, thanks to TV hits like The Amanda Show and What I Like About You, and roles in the films What a Girl Wants and Easy A. But then the actress dropped out of the spotlight -- until a few months ago, at least.

<P>After a <a href="http://rapfix.mtv.com/2012/07/23/michael-jacksons-mother-not-missing/">mysterious disappearance</a> that set off a wild <a href="http://rapfix.mtv.com/2012/07/25/fight-details-janet-and-paris-jackson/">war of words (and fists)</a> and splashed her family's business all over the media, Katherine Jackson broke her silence on Wednesday night in an attempt to set the record straight.</P><P>"I am here today to let everybody know that I am fine and I am here with my children, and my children would never do a thing to me like that, holding me against my will," she told <a href="http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/katherine-jackson-court-hearing-based-bunch-lies-exclusive/story?id=16857775&page=2#.UBEzD47v3iR" target="_blank">ABC News</a> in a statement that denied rumors she'd been kidnapped or held against her will by a group of her children. Surrounded by children Janet, Jermaine and Rebbie, as well as Rebbie's daughter, Stacy, Katherine spoke to ABC, but would not allow the network to ask her any questions. "It's very stupid for people to think that. But anyway, I am devastated that while I've been away, that my children, my grandchildren, have been taken away from me, and I'm coming home to see about that, also."</P><P>On Wednesday, a judge temporarily stripped the Jackson family matriarch of her guardianship duties for late King of Pop Michael's three children, Prince, Paris and Prince Michael II ("Blanket") handing responsibility over to their cousin, TJ Jackson.
