The show mustn't always go on. Thursday's surprising news that The Colbert Report would be put on hiatus for the remainder of the week due to "unforeseen circumstances," prompted one question: Why? A source close to the show tells the New York Post that host Stephen Colbert, 47, asked that production be temporarily halted so that he can care for his ailing 91-year-old mother, Lorna Colbert.
